PUPPIES FAQ

Your Questions, Answered

The basics are a complete puppy food, bowls, a crate or pen, a bed, safe chew toys, a collar and lead, and potty-training supplies.

Most puppies begin weaning onto solid puppy food around three to four weeks and are fully weaned by about eight weeks.

Make the crate cosy, feed meals inside, and build up time gradually with rewards so the crate becomes a safe, calm space.

You can start gentle training and socialization from around eight weeks. Keep sessions short, positive, and consistent.

Young puppies usually eat three to four small meals a day, reducing to two meals as they grow. Follow the food guide for their age and weight.

We compare product types on safety, materials, usability, maintenance and long-term cost, using manufacturer documentation, published guidance from vets and trainers, and owner feedback. Our guides are research based rather than lab tested, and we say so on every page. You can read our full method on the How We Review page.
